　　Yuan Mei   Associate professor, born in 1970 and graduated from foreign language department of Lanzhou University in 1992. Working as Chinese language teacher to international students as well as program manager in various international educational exchange programs since 2003. Between 2012 and 2014, worked as guest Chinese teacher at Nordic CI in Stockholm University, Sweden. In 2016, appointed as supervisor of MTCSOL postgraduate program with academic interest in Chinese language teaching and intercultural studies.

Liu Xiaoyan, female, Master of Arts, graduated from School of Chinese Language and Literature in Lanzhou university, and started teaching Chinese language to foreign students in School of international cultural exchange inthe same year of 2002. Currentlysheservesas the directorof linguistics and pedagogy teaching and research section of our school and she teachescourses at various levels for undergraduate and language foreign students, in particular,elementary and intermediate comprehensive Chineseand speaking Chinese.Her research area is language teaching, Chinese grammar, and cross-cultural communication.

Kang Yan,associate professor, a PHD candidate of linguistics, acquired her Master’s Degree of Linguistics and Applied Linguistics from Renmin University of China. Her main research area: cross-cultural comparative study, the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language and history of Chinese language etc. Teaching courses: language skills, undergraduate major courses and method of teaching Chinese etc. Since she worked in the School of International Cultural Exchange, she has published several academic papers and one textbook for teaching Chinese as a second language. She has presided over one independent research project of Lanzhou University and participated in several national and school projects. In 2013, she has been awarded with the prize “Longji Teaching Talent of Lanzhou University”.
